Carly Edwards, MSW

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are while we work together toward meaningful, lasting change. I believe healing doesn’t require perfection—it begins with feeling safe enough to be yourself.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families in outpatient, community-based mental health, and residential treatment settings. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and emotional regulation difficulties. Working across different levels of care has strengthened my belief that every person’s healing journey is unique and deserves compassion, curiosity, and individualized support.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and person-centered. I strive to help clients better understand themselves, build on their existing strengths, and develop practical coping skills for navigating life's challenges while creating meaningful, lasting change. I utilize evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring therapy feels both supportive and effective. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, experiencing anxiety, depression, working through trauma, or simply looking to grow, I'll meet you where you are with empathy, authenticity, and encouragement.

I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples who are ready to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and build lives that feel authentic and fulfilling. Whether we're addressing personal challenges, relationship concerns, stress, or major life transitions, it is an honor to walk alongside my clients as they discover their resilience, deepen their connections, heal from life's challenges, and move toward the future they envision for themselves.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia and my Master of Social Work from the University of West Florida. I am currently a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in the state of Florida, working toward independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am committed to continued professional growth and providing compassionate, evidence-informed therapy that empowers clients to achieve their goals and create lasting change.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. Whether you're seeking therapy for anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship concerns, or personal growth, I would be honored to support you. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey.
