Groups

Finding affordable therapy or support can be very hard. Here at Be Kind to Mind Counseling, we offer groups to hopefully ease the financial burden as well as finding support from those who understand.


In-Person Groups

Teen Mental Health Group with Ellen

Open/ ongoing

 Every other Wednesday at 6 PM to 7:15 PM  

This group is designed to help teens navigate the complexities of their emotions, build coping skills, and connect with peers who understand their experiences. Led by an experienced and compassionate facilitator, our sessions focus on creating a nurturing space where teens can openly discuss their struggles and receive support. Key features of our group include:


LGBTQIA+ Support Group with Ellen

Open/ ongoing

 Every other Monday at 5:30 to 6:45 PM 

Welcome to our LGBTQIA+ Support Group, a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Our group is dedicated to fostering a supportive community where members can share their experiences, find solidarity, and receive guidance in navigating the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents

Our Support Group for Children of Emotionally Immature Parents is a nurturing and understanding community designed for individuals who have grown up with parents unable to meet their emotional needs. This group aims to provide a supportive environment where members can share experiences, gain insights, and develop strategies to cope with the unique challenges of their upbringing.



Adulting 101 - Mindfulness and Self Care with Rebecca

Open/ ongoing  

9 AM to 10:15 AM on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month 

This group is designed to help you explore and develop skills that promote mental well-being and emotional resilience. By focusing on mindfulness and self-care practices, you will learn techniques to enhance your self-awareness, reduce stress, and improve your overall quality of life.


Anxiety Support Group

Open/ ongoing

Join our welcoming Anxiety Support Group, a safe space designed for individuals dealing with anxiety disorders. Whether you experience generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, or other anxiety-related challenges, this group provides a compassionate environment for sharing and healing. Led by a trained facilitator, our sessions focus on peer support, coping strategies, and practical tools for managing anxiety.
