Brian has many years' experience working with children and adolescents both in clinics, schools and in-home situations. Brian began his counseling career working with victims of trauma and sexual abuse and specializing in children ages 5-12. Brian has worked in a crisis stabilization unit, residential treatment programs and in substance abuse clinical treatment programs. Brian has his Associates degree from Daytona State College, his Bachelors degree from the University of Central Florida, and his Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Brian is currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern working towards his LMHC and is looking to return to college to pursue a PhD in Counselor Education. Brian’s evidenced based, solution focused approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Redirection, Modeling, Mirroring, Active Listening and Positive Psychology.
