Hello, I’m Rebecca Feather.
I am a Master Certified Addictions Professional and a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with a strong commitment to helping individuals overcome challenges such as addiction, anxiety, depression, and the unique struggles faced by veterans.
I’m originally from Pennsylvania, where I earned my undergraduate degree from Saint Francis University, Loretto. I then went on to complete my master's in social work at the University of New England. Throughout my studies, I discovered my deep passion for mental health and supporting others as they navigate life’s difficulties.
In my practice, I specialize in helping clients manage addiction, anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma, including those experienced by veterans. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy to provide tailored, goal-focused support. My approach is to meet you where you are, collaboratively set meaningful goals, and offer practical tools that can be applied in your everyday life.
I believe open communication, honesty, and trust are essential to building a thriving therapeutic relationship. I work with individuals, couples, and teens, recognizing that each person’s path to healing is unique. Whether you’re dealing with addiction, struggling with anxiety or depression, or seeking support as a veteran, I’m here to walk with you on your journey.
Outside of my professional life, I’m an animal lover, and my two dogs, Blu and Ivory, are my constant companions. When I’m not working, I enjoy reading fantasy and psychological thrillers and watching movies.
It’s easy to feel isolated when life gets tough, but remember that you don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. I’m here to help guide you through the process of healing and self-discovery, with compassion and understanding every step of the way.
